Project Description
“Drinkomat” is a playful two-player quiz arcade machine that rewards correct answers and playfully punishes mistakes with a shot of liquid. Designed as an engaging social centerpiece, the machine turns gatherings into interactive gaming experiences filled with laughter, competition, and surprise.
Built from OSB (oriented strand board), Drinkomat features a robust and distinct aesthetic. Its playful yet provocative nature ensures memorable interactions, encouraging players to test their knowledge in a fun, social context. With every wrong answer, the machine automatically dispenses a shot, adding suspense and excitement to every game.
Ideal for events, parties, or social gatherings, Drinkomat provides an entertaining fusion of competition, knowledge, and interactive rewards.
Technical Description
The Drinkomat arcade is constructed from durable OSB, integrating seamlessly into various event environments. At its core is a custom-developed quiz application created with Unity, offering diverse and engaging questions for participants. The game interface interacts with an Arduino-controlled liquid dispensing mechanism, accurately releasing measured shots into a waiting glass upon incorrect responses.
The design and construction process involved Rhino3D for precise modeling and fabrication planning, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and functionality in both the physical structure and interactive electronics of the arcade unit.
